Full time, 6 month contract
Our IT tools help patients and health workers to manage health care effectively: regionally, nationally and in Australia. The team’s scope of work includes migrating legacy tools to modern tools, and expanding our product offerings to new markets.
We are looking for an intermediate level developer to join the team, focusing initially on migrating some legacy tools into modern frameworks, and then hopefully progressing to some of our newer green fields projects.
This is not standard web application development work. Our customers are other health organisations, and many of our tools are designed to integrate with other third party tools used by health practitioners. All of our developers get involved with our customers, so you need to demonstrate good communication skills and be able to understand requirements and their context.
We are a small IT team in a public health organisation, allowing opportunities for pair work and autonomous ownership of tasks, across a variety of projects, so we are looking for a reasonable and appropriate level of confidence in your work. We offer a friendly and dynamic work environment where you can further develop unique skills and experience.
Salary is based on skill, and we are open to receiving applications from more experienced developers.
