Do you have experience with brief intervention, group work, psychoeducation, e-therapy and supporting health professionals?
We are looking for a psychologist to join our busy team to the end of June. This is a 0.6 role, with flexibility over when the hours are worked, between 8.00am and 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. Being available for an immediate start will be a real advantage.
On any day, you could be working with clients one-on-one, facilitating a group, contributing to continuing education for health professionals. Additionally, you may provide psychoeducation for people with long term health conditions, consult with staff in General Practice, and with external stakeholders and organisations.
You will be organised, flexible, and dynamic, and able to respond to the varied and changing needs in primary health care. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to work effectively with diverse groups of people. This could be a suitable role for a recent graduate. You need to hold appropriate qualifications, and be registered with the New Zealand Psychologists Board.
We are a non-smoking workplace.
Applications should be sent to email@example.com.
