Pay range: ~$30 per hour (depending on experience)

We are a busy and vibrant boutique GP practice on the Auckland’s North Shore aspiring to provide best service and patient care. Our patients’ primary health care needs are provided by a team of 3 doctors, nursing and administration staff of 4.
We believe having staff feeling valued and supported is vital to having a successful practice.
We are looking for a bright, enthusiastic, “first impression” superstar! As a Receptionist/Clinical Assistant you will be the “face” of the business.
Your duties will include checking patients in, booking appointments, dealing with patient enquiries in person, over the phone and email, cash handling, data entry and other admin related tasks. You will also be completing clinical duties such as taking core health measurements, such as blood pressure, height and weight, urine testing, performing ECGs, spirometry and audiometry, and ideally blood taking. Therefore successful applicant will need to have a clinical assistant equivalent qualification.
Ideally you will have MedTech software experience.
As our new team member you will need to have the following key skills and attributes:
- Friendly, professional and caring
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- A motivated team player with a solutions-focused mindset
- Experience in a General Practice
- Clinical Assistant equivalent qualification, with Phlebotomy (cert.) preferred
- A sound working knowledge of the usual office systems – emails, fax, photocopying, scanning, payments
Hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm. We are looking for part time staff. We are not open on the weekend or public holidays.
