We have a team of 8 GP’s and are part of a multidisciplinary facility – including Skin Clinic, Laboratory, Pharmacy, Physiotherapist and Podiatrist.

Practice Nurse, Glenfield Medical Centre (Part-time)

We are currently seeking to employ a Practice Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team at our Cornerstone Accredited practice in Glenfield.

This role covers all aspects of general practice including wound management, diabetes care, immunisations, assisting with minor surgery and health promotion.

The successful candidate will be a quick learner, have sound clinical and communication skills, a commitment to maintaining a high standard of nursing practice and an ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in primary care and who hold a current APC and vaccinator certificate.

Ideally, we are looking for someone to work approximately 3 to 4 days per week but also have the flexibility to cover for annual and sick leave when required.

Medical Receptionist, Part Time Maternity Cover, Dodson Medical Centre

Dodson Medical Centre is a busy family orientated General Practitioners with 5 GPs and 5 nurses. You will work in a team of medical receptionists to support the smooth running of the clinic. Friendly team environment. No weekend work.

As our front of office receptionist you will work alongside one other receptionist at any given time. The role is busy and you must be comfortable multi-tasking and learning new skills. Answering phones, meeting & greeting patients, taking payments, booking appointments, enrolling patients, scanning, entering data and handling emails to name a few of the regular tasks. Medtech32 knowledge or use of another patient management system is an advantage but full training will be given to the correct candidate. We are looking for someone who can get up to speed quickly and is able to cover leave from time to time as well as work a regular Mon, Tue, Wed 7.30am-3.00pm. This role is to cover maternity leave.

Previous Medtech experience will be an advantage but training given.

We are looking for an experienced, clinically excellent RN for a full time position in our Takapuna clinic (0.8-1.0 FTE).

We are looking for a practice nurse who can hit the ground running, so the following key knowledge and skill areas will be required:

  • Certified vaccinator
  • Smear taker
  • Have in depth knowledge and previous experience in running nurse-led clinics for diabetes, asthma and others,
  • Demonstrate a willingness to undertake training for any areas requiring certification
  • The role will involve a share of late night and weekend shifts, but no more than 1 in 3.

You will need to have the following attributes

  • Ability to work with GP in acute situations
