Independent vaccinator, Apollo Medical Centre

Are you interested in disease prevention? Would you like to work in a vaccination clinic? 

Our centre provides primary care services to our growing multicultural community of 20,000 enrolled patients. Apollo Medical has adopted the Health Care Home model of care and is focused on delivering team-based, patient centred care, of outstanding quality.

The primary purpose of this role to provide vaccinations to children and adults according to the NZ Immunisation Schedule and as prescribed by the medical practitioners.

To be successful in this role you will need to be a New Zealand authorised Independent vaccinator or meet the eligibility requirements of IMAC – Immunisation Advisory Council of New Zealand. This role is ideally suited for a Registered Enrolled Nurse.

You will need to be well organised and able to work independently, managing all aspects of a vaccination clinic including cold chain management and supply. The ability to speak mandarin would be an advantage.

Support for training with IMAC may be provided to the successful candidate. Applicants must be a New Zealand registered health professional with a current practicing certificate.

We are looking for an experienced receptionist with excellent interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and a commitment towards excellent customer service, to join our friendly team in Browns Bay.

We would like someone who can appreciate the confidentiality required with fluent written and spoken English, who is comfortable working under pressure. Previous experience with Medtech32 would be ideal.
